You'll Need:
3/4 C. Castile Soap (I prefer Dr. Bronner's unscented)
1/2 C. Super Washing Soda NOT BAKING SODA **you should be able to find this on the laundry isle
1/2 C. Borax
20 drops of your favorite essential oil. I use these
-- I like lavender + cleansing blend together
3 gallon storage bucket
3- 1 gallon storage containers with lid (unless you want to store the 3 gallon bucket)
Mix Super Washing Soda + Borax in 3 gallon bucket -- stir well
Add hot water just to cover ingredients and then stir until your arm falls off (or until ingredients are well blended)
Add the liquid castile soap and essential oils.
Add 2 gallons (16 C.) of hot tap water.
Mix until your arms really fall off.
Once everything is well blended you can divide mixture into separate containers if you choose.
Make sure to mix your container up before each use and you'll want to use 1/4 - 1/3 C. per load.
This recipe will make about 96 loads costing less than $0.17 per load!!
Do you need some fabric softener to go with that?
You, your wallet, and your body can thank me later!
